Time is Relative

 

Imagine that you are sitting in a special convertible, one that travels at the speed of light, and you are zooming away from a clock tower. Now when you look at the hands of the clock, you would see them stop because you are travelling at the speed of light the light from the new position of the clock can't reach you. But meanwhile, at the clock tower, the clock would continue to tick at it normal pace. Time had slowed down for you. 

This is what Einstien realised while receding away from the Zytglogge clock tower in a tram car after work, and it was this thought that led him to revolutionize modern physics forever by saying that, 

 

the faster you move through space the slower you move through time.

 

But how is this possible????
